Coops Group project takes to the skies

Date 15/12/2020

Company: Quattro Plant

The newest member of the Quattro fleet...

Took to the skies this week, fresh out of the hanger and keen to showcase it’s brand new paint job!

This project, an idea of Coops Group which was managed and delivered by our amazing team in time for Quattro’s 30th Birthday celebrations. Coops Group worked closely with Quattro’s MD John Murphy to redesign the plane in Quattro branding and those incredible shark’s teeth.

The plane has a rich history, with the previous owner being the legendary pink Floyd guitarist and vocalist Dave Gilmour.

The WW2-era SNJ-7 Harvard started life as a US Navy training craft.  It is believed to be one of only 33 registered Harvard’s in the UK today.

‘We wanted to support Quattro’s milestone 30th Birthday with something really special, and when the opportunity to get our hands on such an iconic piece of aviation history came up. we knew John just couldn’t say no!’. And It’s not every day you get to purchase, design and project manage a WW2 plane  said Scott Cooper, Managing Director of Coops Group,
